Aufgrund der heutigen Futterzusammensetzung sind in vielen Fällen die Welpen frohwüchsig. Bedingt durch die Unterversorgung an Calcium und Mineralstoffen sind oftmals die Zähne sowie das Skelett unterentwickelt, und es entstehen Zahn-HD-Probleme sowie Knochenerweichung. Bei Canina WELPENKALK wurde aus diesem Grunde bewusst auf den Zusatz von Vitaminen verzichtet und wir weisen in diesem Zusammenhang auf das günstige Calcium zu Phosphor-Verhältnis von 3 zu 1 hin.

Dieser WELPENKALK ist ausgewogen zusammengesetzt – mit den Spurenelementen Eisen, Zink, Mangan, Kupfer, Jod, Selen – und speziell abgestimmt auf den wachsenden Organismus. Er ist leicht verdaulich und sollte vom Tage der Zufütterung (ca. 6. Woche) täglich beigefüttert werden bis zum Ende der Wachstumsphase. Bei regelmäßiger Anwendung und genauer Dosierung wird die Entwicklung eines gesunden Skeletts und kräftiger Zähne optimal unterstützt.
